Aerobic Training: How Doing It Properly Can Improve Health

Many people today use various medications and take crash diets to lose unwanted pounds and improve their health. Because of this phenomenon, the benefits of aerobic exercise have been overlooked. Two of the most popular forms of aerobics are running and jogging. These activities lead to an improved physical appearance, a healthier heart and an increased mood.

The main advantage of this type of exercise is a healthy heart. The human body reacts to the increased oxygen requirement when running or jogging. During aerobic exercise, the circulatory system responds by pushing harder, causing the heart to beat faster. Just like other muscles in the body that receive a healthy dose of exercise, regular aerobic exercise strengthens the heart. A stronger heart pumps blood more efficiently and improves blood flow to many parts of the body. Because of a healthy heart, climbing stairs can be a breeze and walking or running long distances can be less difficult. The body therefore becomes more efficient in coping with everyday tasks that can occur.

As with other physical activities, regular aerobic exercise can give people who are busy a healthier looking body. For people who exercise regularly, the muscles become tighter and leaner because fat is burned. In addition to these physical improvements, greater muscle density contributes to bone strength and reduces the risk of broken bones as you age.

Medical studies add that moderate or intense physical activity can cause the body to produce substances called endorphins. These substances are produced by the brain, which can improve mood and eliminate stress and anxiety. Many health experts refer to this effect as “Runner’s High”.

However, people wishing to participate in aerobic training should consult health professionals or train with a professional instructor. Because improper or too much training can do more harm than good. Extreme exercise can increase the production of stress hormones such as cortisol, adrenaline and noradrenaline. These hormones help the body switch to a more efficient fat-burning metabolism in order to maintain the glycogen in the muscles and help the blood vessels supply oxygen to the muscles. However, stress overload can occur if a person does not decrease the intensity for a short time. This can lead to an increase in white blood cells, which eliminates bacteria, viruses and even cancer cells. When the intensive training is over, the number of immune cells can decrease. It is believed that existing viruses or bacteria can multiply at this stage and cause infections that can weaken the immune system. Aerobic exercise and other physical activities should be done properly to avoid inappropriate or excessive side effects – exercise can bring. People who want to participate in such activities can start aerobic training by running or jogging for five minutes in the morning and another five minutes in the evening. The next day, you can add a few minutes to each aerobic session. Soon they could run or jog quickly for 30 minutes a day and take advantage of regular aerobic exercise.
