History of the trampolines

The first trampolines are said to have been used by the Inuit who threw each other in the air on a walrus skin. This may also have happened in Europe to people using a blanket. This is very similar to the practice that firefighters use to trap people from falling buildings. The very first trampolines were manufactured by Nissen and Griswold in 1934.
